Carlen is an ‘ideas woman’ with an entrepreneurial spirit who particularly enjoys business building. She has a great empathy for others and believes in advocating for the rights of patients in their healthcare journey. Carlen has more than 37yrs experience working in healthcare and her love of travel took her to London where she worked in Harley and Wimpole streets, and the NHS. More recently, Carlen has come from a hospital environment working in Procurement. Over the years, Carlen has worked in many areas of healthcare including Indigenous health, dermatology, IVF, obstetrics and gynaecology, orthopaedics, haematology and oncology, to name a few. Outside of work, Carlen enjoys the arts, travel and spending time with her children and dogs.
